Join us in welcoming the beginning of a new year by celebrating Black History Month. Black History Month is an annual celebration in which we honor, commemorate and uplift black voices and achievements. The initiation of Black History Month was set into motion by black educators and the Black United Students at Kent State University in 1969. And here we are, over 50 years later, still recognizing this momentous month! Here at RNDC, we value our diverse and culturally rich environment. So much so that we’ve developed the Legacy in the Bottle campaign, which aims to give back to charities such as the United Negro College Fund, a non-profit organization that aids minority students and provides financial support to historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
Now, what is RNDC’s role in all of this? Great question! Not only is the Legacy in the Bottle campaign used to give back to charity, it is also designed to highlight black-owned wine and spirits brands. We utilize key accounts so they can highlight these brands, which will in turn create brand awareness and encourage consumers to give back to our charity partner, the United Negro College Fund.
Giving back just got a whole lot better! This year, we have so many excellent participating brand partners. Our wine partners are Longevity, Intercept, FLO Wine and Mermosa. If your consumers are more spirit-leaning and still want to support this initiative, we’ve got you covered.
